The Rev. Dr. H. Rondel Rumburg Biographical Sketch
The subject of this sketch was educated in the local school system of Princeton, WV. He graduated from Princeton High School in 1959, and immediately entered Concord College in Athens, WV. After a year at Concord he transferred to Piedmont Baptist College in Winston-Salem, NC where he graduated in 1964. He attended Luther Rice Seminary in Jacksonville, FL and graduated with a Th.M. degree. He also attended New Orleans Baptist Theological Seminary working on an M.Div. And lastly he attended Reformed Theological Seminary in Jackson, MS where he received a D.Min. Degree.
Pastor Rumburg has been in the ministry since 1964. He has pastored in WV, VA, NC and AL. He is the founding pastor of two local Baptist churches. During these years, in the ministry, he has taught in two Bible Institutes, contributed weekly articles to newspapers, written literature, been a conference speaker, been a speaker at various Southern events (SCV, League of the South, Revival in the Southern Armies Conference, Chamber of Commerce for Talledega, AL, Lee-Jackson Day, Lexington, VA spoke in Lee Chapel at W & L University, Southern Baptist Founders Conference, etc.), and has authored five books (Baptists and the State, Stonewall Jackson's Verse, Some Southern Documents of the People Called Baptists, The Universal Dominion of Christ, The Last Earthly Meeting of Lee and Jackson), and a biography of William Bridge: the Congregational Puritan . Dr. Rumburg also wrote forewords to the following Sprinkle Publications: Life and Letters of "Stonewall" Jackson by Mary Anna Jackson, Two Little Confederates by Thomas Nelson Page, and Among the Camps by Thomas Nelson Page, A Soldier's Recollections by Randolph H. McKim, Diary of a Southern Refugee by Judith B. McGuire and Leonidas Polk by William M. Polk. Dr. Rumburg wrote a biographical sketch of John Witherspoon, a signer of the Declaration of Independence and President of Princeton University, for volumes 1, 2 & 3 of The Works of John Witherspoon published by Sprinkle Publications. Dr. Rumburg is the president of the Society for Biblical and Southern Studies; he is an active member of the Sons of Confederate Veterans, and former commander of the Forrest Camp #1435, Birmingham, AL and was Chaplain for the Alabama Division of the SCV. He was on the board of directors of the Shelby County Historical Society in Columbiana, AL. He was the former Commander of the Appomattox Courthouse-Rangers Camp #1733 of the Sons of Confederate Veterans.

Dr. Cecil Fayard Biographical Sketch
Dr. Cecil Fayard is a native Mississippian. He was born in Biloxi, two miles from Beauvoir, the last home of Confederate States President Jefferson Davis. Cecil Fayard is a 1971 graduate of Ocean Springs High School, Ocean Springs, Mississippi. He is an ordained Baptist minister.
Fayard served in the United States Air Force from 1971-1975 with expeditionary service in Korea and combat service with the 7602 Air Intelligence Group in Saigon, Viet Name. While in Korea, Dr. Fayard received special recognition for his work with the Korean people. While serving with the 49th Tactical Fighter Squadron in Alamogordo, New Mexico, Fayard founded the James Canyon Baptist Mission, Cloudcroft, New Mexico.
Cecil Fayard has served churches in Mississippi, New Mexico, Tennessee, Arkansas, and Kentucky.
Dr. Fayard attended Mid-Continent Baptist Bible College, Mayfield, KY where he received the Certificate of Bible Diploma. He earned his Bachelor of Science Degree in Theology from Beth Haven College, Louisville, KY. He received his Master of Arts in Bible and Doctor of Ministry Degrees from Patriot University, Colorado Springs, CO. Other studies include New Mexico State University and Moody Bible Institute.
In 1983, Dr. Fayard received the Arkansas Certificate of Merit for his work in education. Fayard was included in the 1989 edition of WHo's Who in American Christian Leadership. He is listed in the twenty-second edition of the Dictionary of International Biography. Fayard appears in the sixth edition of Personalities of America. In 1991, Dr. Fayard was selected to receive the Man of the Year award from American Biogrpahical Institute and 2000-2001 Nationwide Who's Who of Professionals.
Dr. Cecil Fayard is a member of the Sons of Confederate Veterans, the American Legion, the Disabled American Veterans and the Mississippi Gulf Coast Geneological and Historical Society. He presently serves as Chaplain for the Mississippi Division SCV and is commander of Major General E. C. Walthall Camp 211, Grenada, Mississippi.
Fayard serves on the Board of Directors for River City Mission, Paducah, Ky and is on the Research Board for ABI.
Dr. Fayard is pastor of the Elliott Baptist Church, Elliott, Mississippi. He is married to Denise (Bowen) Fayard of Ocean Springs. They have five children.
